Trent Noah came up big for Harlan County on Thursday, as the Black Bears survived Barbourville’s upset attempt by pulling out a 75-70 win.
Noah scored 12 of his game-high 40 points during the fourth quarter to lead Harlan County to its fifth straight victory, and 13th Region-best 25th win.
Daniel Carmical hit five 3-pointers, and finished with 15 points while Caleb Johnson added 10 points for the Black Bears.
Harlan County led 19-15 at the end of the first quarter, and 36-30 at halftime before taking a slim 51-48 edge into the fourth quarter.
Matt Warren led the Tigers (16-10) with 21 points while KT Turner, and Travis Scott each scored 16 points apiece.
