Jackson County capped off regular season play in a big way.
The Generals knocked off Pineville, 74-64, on Thursday while ending the Mountain Lions’ win streak at five games.
With the game tied at 38 apiece entering the third quarter, Jackson County took over.
Six points by Tydus Summers, and five points by Keagan Ward allowed the Generals to take a 61-49 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Jackson County managed to hold on, and secure its 17th win of the season while Pineville fell to 17-9.
Jude Lakes led the Generals with 22 points while Summers, and Carter Cunagin each scored 16 points apiece. Ward added nine points in the win.
Ashton Moser led the Mountain Lions with 25 points while Sawyer Thompson finished with 20 points.
