Corbin, North Laurel, South Laurel, and Whitley County round out the top four teams in first  L4 Security 13th Region Media Network Fastpitch Poll

The first L4 Security 13th Region Media Network Fastpitch Poll has been released with defending 13th Region champion Corbin coming in at the top spot once again this season.

The Lady Redhounds (20-15) return a ton of talent from last season’s squad, including Danni Foley, who hit .519, while posting a 9-5 mark in the pitcher’s circle. Another key player returning is Kallie Housley, who was 8-5 with a save last season.

Chris Edward’s North Laurel Lady Jaguars come in at the No. 2 spot after going 23-13 last season. All eyes are on Emile Sizemore, who batted .472 while hitting 11 home runs and finishing with 53 RBI.

Carly Mink’s South Laurel Lady Cardinals come in at No. 3 spot after going 19-14 last season.

Rounding out the top five are Whitley County, and Jackson County while Clay County is No. 6, and

Pineville comes in seventh while Lynn Camp is No. 8, Knox Central is ninth and Harlan County and Middlesboro are tied at No. 10.
