Knox Central’s Halle Collins took home top honors of the Forcht Bank Presents the L4 Security 13th Region Media Network Media Awards Girls’ Player of the Year award while North Laurel coach Eddie Mahan was named Girls’ Coach of the Year, and South Laurel’s Shelbie Mills named Newcomer of the Year.
The awards for Player, Coach, and Newcomer of the Year along with First Team All-Region plaques will be taken to the winner’s respective high school within the next three weeks.
