KY Hoops 2024 (Clay County, KY) shines during this past weekend’s Grit Prep Hoops Circuit

LOUISVILLE — The KY Hoops 2024 AAU team (Clay County, KY) turned in a stellar effort during this past weekend’s Grit Prep Hoops Circuit. 

KY Hoops turned in a dominant 3-1 showing with its only loss coming against Pennsylvania’s Pittsburgh Pioneer Elite squad. 

KY Hoops picked up impressive wins over New York’s NEBC 2024, Kentucky’s Vision Elite 2024 Premier, and Illinois’ DTM Elite Chicago 2024.

KY Hoops 2024 85, NEBC 2024 81

KY Hoops led 39-30 at halftime while holding off a late rally by NEBC 2024 to pull off an 85-81 win.

Jerrod Roark led the way with 25 points while Elijah Bundy added 24 points in the win. Landon Dezarn turned in a 13-point scoring effort while Jeremiah Beck (10 points), Hayden Harris (8), and Grayson Hooker (5) followed.

Pittsburgh Pioneer Elite 78, KY Hoops 2024 54

KY Hoops 2024 suffered their only loss during the Grit Prep Hoops Circuit by dropping a 78-54 loss to Pittsburgh Pioneer Elite.

Pittsburgh Pioneer Elite built a 53-27 lead at halftime while KY Hoops 2024 outscored their opponent, 27-25, during second half action.

Roark turned in a 20-point scoring effort while Harris followed with 19 points. Binder scored seven points while Dezarn added six points, and Beck finished with two points.

KY Hoops 2024 77, Vision Elite 2024 Premier 48

Harris knocked down four 3-pointers, and scored a game-high 28 points to lead KY Hoops 2024 a 77-48 loss.

KY Hoops 2024 led 44-28 at halftime, and outscored their opponents, 33-20, in the second half.

Roark and Bundy each added 14 points apiece while Dezarn added nine points, Beck had six points, and Hooker added five points.

KY Hoops 2024 74,  DTM Elite Chicago 2024 67

DTM Elite Chicago 2024 held a 30-25 lead at halftime but Roark, and Dezarn got hot in the second half to help KY Hoops 2024 to outscore their opponents, 49-37, in the second half to pick up a 74-67 victory.

Roark scored 14 of his 18 points in the second half while pitched in all of his 13 points in the second half. Beck finished with 14 points while Bundy added 12 points. Harris scored 10 points while Hooker added seven points in the win.
