KENTUCKY FARM BUREAU BASEBALL TOP 10: Colonels remain in top spot; Redhounds, Cardinals come in at No. 2 and No. 3 positions

WEEK THREE
1. Whitley County (13-2)

The Colonels continue to solidify their top spot by posting a 3-1 mark against some very good teams during seeing break.

2. Corbin (8-4)

The Redhounds are winners of three straight after securing an impressive 2-1 victory over Russell County Friday. This team is just going to get better, and better. 

3. South Laurel (9-6)

The Cardinals might have posted a 1-3 mark during spring break, but they definitely got better. Trey Smith’s squad faced off against some top notch competition which some them lose two games against teams they hung tough with and almost beat.

4. Clay County (5-6) 

Spring break wasn’t kind for the Tigers, who posted a 1-4 mark. They did manage to beat Breathitt County, as Brandon Crawford, and Luke Hillard combine to accomplish the feat. 

5. North Laurel (5-7) 

The Jaguars are another team that played top notch competition during spring break. North Laurel posted an 0-4 mark, but Darren McWhorter’s squad hung tough through all four games.

6. Williamsburg (7-4)

Bray Hopkins’ Yellow Jackets we’re 1-2 during spring break, but continue to improve and impress. Hopkins has done a fantastic job with this team.

7. Knox Central (3-7) 

The Panthers dropped four games during spring break, but remain at the No. 7 spot.

8. Middlesboro (4-4) 

The Yellow Jackets managed to grab one win during spewing break, finishing with a 1-2 mark this past week. 

9. Harlan County (5-6) 

Since starting the season with five straight wins, the Black Bears have lost six in a row, including going 0-3 this past week.

10. Barbourville (3-3)

The Tigers didn’t move up or down a spot after not playing a game this past week.
