North Laurel seventh-grader Emma Carl has been named Dixon Law Office 13th Region Fastpitch Player of the Week after batting .666 while going 6-for-9 at the plate. She also had four runs scored, one home run, two RBI, and two doubles. In the pitcher’s circle, she finished with a 2-0 mark, and one save, tossing 15 innings while allowing seven hits, and three earned runs. Carl had 16 Ks, and a 1.40 ERA.
