Pineville’s Rachel Howard turned in another dominating effort on Monday during the Lady Mountain Lions’ 3-0 win over Jackson County.
Howard recorded her fourth shutout during her last five appearances while limiting Jackson County to only one hit while striking out 17 batters.
Baileigh Bargo went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI while Makenna Partin posted a 1-for-3 effort with a double, an RBI and a walk. McKenzie Laws had two hits, including an inside the park home run while Madalyn Capps, Laws, and Howard also scored a run apiece.
