Jackson County’s Candice Williams recorded a 18 strikeouts during the Lady Generals’ 5-1 win over Leslie County on Friday.
The win improved Jackson County to 11-9, as Williams now has 179 Ks on the season.
“It was one of the most dominating performances of her career,” Jackson County coach Gary Tillery said. “Scarlett Peel, Blakelynn Fee, Josie Starcher and Williams each had a RBI.”
