1. Corbin (16-5)

Can any team in the 13th Region beat Corbin this season? The Redhounds have won 14 consecutive games against regional foes along with two straight 13th Region titles.

Coach Armando Cima lost a lot of talent from last season’s squad but returns a talented senior class led by Gabe Cima, Brendon Barajas, Aden Cima, Noah Giles, Dalton Grega, Austin Ooten, Sheel Patel, and Seth Steely.

2. North Laurel (9-8-2)

This fall could be really exciting for the Jaguars. They continue to improve and have high expectations. Some key injuries could be pivotal for North Laurel but the return of players such as Grant Abner (8 goals, 3 assists), Tanner Broyles (3 goals, 3 assists), Seth Miller (1 goal, 5 assists), Gabriel Steely (2 goals, 3 assists), Zachary Crouch (1 goal, 2 assists), and Jackson McCowan (6 goals, 2 assists) will be key.

3. South Laurel (5-9-2)

The Cardinals aren’t in rebuild mode but they were hit hard by graduation.

Eli Buckles, Zach Rayburn, and Jacob Parman will be expected to carry the load this fall along with keeper Jordan Mabe, Liam Zik, Kyle Durham, Daniel Campbell and Tyler Reynolds.

4. Whitley County (5-12-3)

The Colonels graduated five seniors from last season’s squad, and will count on seniors Brent Grimes and Johnny Parra along with juniors, Cameron Jones, Canaan Parsons, and Matthew Sawyers.

5. Harlan County (5-6)

The Black Bears program is moving in the right direction but they’ll need players to step up on offense after graduating their top two scorers from last season.
