Bell County defeats Harlan County
The Lady Bobcats managed to pull off a 3-0 52nd District win over Harlan County while improving to 11-3 overall, and 2-0 against district opponents.
The loss dropped the Lady Black Bears to 4-2 overall and 0-1 against district foes.
Bell County won the first set 25-13 before slipping past Harlan County in the second set, 25-23. The Lady Bobcats captures the third set, 27-25.
Pineville defeats Knox Central
The Pineville Lady Mountain Lions defeated Knox Central in a 51st District showdown on Tuesday for the first time since 2021, and the second time in program history.
The Lady Panthers entered the match with a series leading 15-1 edge over Pineville, but the Lady Mountain Lions pulled off the win in four sets, 25-21, 18-25, 25-8, and 25-23.
Pineville improved to 3-0 against district competition and 4-2 overall while running its win streak to three games.
