SOMERSET — The Bell County Bobcats turned in the best showing for 13th Region schools placing second overall in the Southern Harrier Classic on Saturday.
Bell County finished with 55 points while Bluegrass United won the event with 31 points.
North Laurel placed third with 79 points while South Laurel placed seventh with 180 points, and Lynn Camp finished eighth with 227 points. Barbourville, Clay County, and Williamsburg also competed in the event, but didn’t field enough runners to qualify for the team championship.
