Knox Central’s Steve Partin rushes for 526 yards, and seven touchdowns, etching his name in the 13th Region and KHSAA state record books

BARBOURVILLE — Knox Central’s Steve Partin put his name in the Panther football program record book by rushing for 526 yards, and seven touchdowns on 41 carries to lead Knox Central to a 50-40 come-from-behind win over Danville on Friday.

The 526 rushing yards is a 13th Region Dale cord while ranking third all-time in the state behind only Johnson Central’s J.J. Jude (584), and Louisville Moore’s Monquantae Gibson (574). 

His seven rushing touchdowns is second all-time in the 13th Region behind Corbin’s Caleb Watkins (8), and 10th all-time in state history.
