MONDAY BOYS’ SOCCER WRAPUP: Whitley County rolls with 13-1 win; Harlan County falls, 4-0

Whitley County’s boys’ soccer team managed to even its record at 1-1 after blowing out Barbourville, 13-1, on Monday while Harlan County dropped a 4-0 decision to BelfryZ

Eight different Colonels scored during Whitley County’s 12-goal win on Monday as Jacob Senters led the way with three goals.

Johnny Para added two goals, and five assists while Matthew Sawyers finished with two goals, and four assists. Brody Moses collected two goals, and an assist while Javon Rider, Canaan Parsons, Cameron Jones, and DShawn Henderson each scored a goal apiece. 

The Colonels will play Knox Central at home Thursday at 6 p.m. while Barbourville travels to play South Laurel today at 6:30 p.m.

Belfry 4, Harlan County 0

The Black Bears suffered their first loss of the season, dropping a 4-0 shut out loss to Belfry.
