Zik’s three goals lead South Laurel boys’ soccer to a 9-0 win over Barbourville

South Laurel Sophomore Liam Zik let his presence be known early and often during the Cardinals’ 9-0 victory over regional opponent Barbourville on Tuesday.

Zik scored three goals and turned in an two-assist effort while Eli Buckles added two goals, and two assists. Daniel Campbell, Zach Rayburn, Brody Gill, and Collin McCready each scored a goal apiece. 

Taitum Harris, and Kobe Petro finished with two assists apiece.

South Laurel (1-1-1) will be back in action Thursday on the road against the same Barbourville (0-3) team.
