LANCASTER — South Laurel got back to its winning ways on Monday after suffering one of its worst losses of the season on Saturday.
The Lady Cardinals (10-4) scored early and often, defeating Garrard County, 6-1.
Josie Gill lex the way with three goals, and one assists while Gracie a hoskins had two goals, and two assists. Ella Rison finished with one goal, and two assists.
“Coming off of a tough loss Saturday, we took tonight’s game to reset and refocus,” South Laurel coach Lora Rison said. “Garrard certainly had some key players but we were able to put together what we’ve been working on and come out with the win.”
South Laurel will travel to play Somerset on Thursday to finish regular season play.
