LOG MOUNTAIN — Rockcastle County recorded its first win at Bell County since 2005 after holding on to defeat the Bobcats, 40-38.
Despite receiving a 370-yard, five touchdown rushing effort from the state’s leading rusher, Daniel Thomas, Bell County didn’t have an answer for Rockcastle County quarterback Tucker Warren and receiver Caleb Moore.
Warren carried the ball 21 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns while completing 13-of-19 pass attempts for 214 yards and three touchdowns. Moore has six catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
The loss dropped Bell County to 6-1 while the Bobcats also suffered their first district loss as well.
