Bell County captures SEKC Team Title; Harlan County’s Tanner Daniels wins SEKC Individual crown

HARLAN — Bell County’s boys’ cross country team took home top team honors in the SEKC Boys’ Championships with 22 points while Harlan County’s Tanner Daniels won the SEKC Individual Championship with a time of 17:03.31.

Bell County was led by Nicholas Stewart’s second place effort (17:52.97) while the Bobcats finished with four runners overall in the top 10. Harlan County placed second with 42 points and had three runners finish in the top 10.

Williamsburg turned in a second place effort with 102 points, and was led by Zayden Housekeeper’s 10th place finish (19.08.84).

Harlan finished fifth with 116 points and was led by Noah Sharpe’s 24th place effort (22:18.81).
