WEST LIBERTY — Harlan County’s boys’ and girls’ cross country teams dominated the action during their respective Class 2A, Region 7 meets.
The boys’ team captured another region crown while Tanner Daniels won the individual regional title with a time of 16:45.73.
The Black Bears had five of the top 10 finishers in the race.
The girls’ team won the regional championship as well while Lady Black Bear Peyton Lunsford took home top honors with the individual region title, finishing with a time of 19:54.88.
Just how dominant was Harlan County’s girls’ team?
They placed six of their runners in the top six, and seven in the top 10.
