North Laurel boys’ cross country team earns berth into state meet while South Laurel will send three runners

MONTICELLO — The North Laurel Jaguar cross country team turned in a fourth place effort which earned them a berth into the KHSAA State Cross Country Meet while South Laurel finished sixth overall, and will be sending three runners.

The Jaguars finished with 92 points as Jace King (12th, 18:19.99), Xander Harris (13th, 18:26.99), and Josh Hoskins (17th, 18:35.53) each turned in top 20 efforts.

The Cardinals had 170 points as Kyler Whitt (20th, 18:50.25), Austin White (26th, 19:20.36), and Jason Hoskins (39th, 21:02.16) will advance to the state meet.
