Middlesboro dropped its season-opener against Hazard, falling on the road Friday, 42-24.
The Bulldogs managed to even the series between the two steams since 1998 at 2-2.
The Yellow Jackets hung tough throughout the contest but couldn’t grab the lead. They’ll attempt to get back on track Friday on the road against Williamsburg.
