LEXINGTON — Jackson County turned in the highest finish for 13th Region boys’ cross country teams during Saturday’s 2023 KHSAA Class A State Cross Country Meet, finishing 19th with 557 points while Lynn Camp placed 25th with 642 points. Williamsburg turned in a 29th place effort with 695 points.
Barbourville’s Corey Payne had the highest individual effort, placing 64th while Lynn Camp’s Tate Mills placed 72nd (18:51.40), and Williamsburg’s Henry Bowling placed 90th (19:22.0) while Harlan’s Noah Sharp finished in 186th place (21:38.10).
