LEXINGTON — Jackson County’s Isabelle Shearer turned in an eight place effort with a time of 20:31.20, helping guide the Lady Generals to a 12th place finish in Saturday’s 2023 KHSAA Class A Girls’ State Cross Country Meet.
Williamsburg turned in a stellar effort in the event, placing 16th with 469 points while Harlan finished 23rd with 554 points.
Emaly Powers led the Lady Yellow Jackets with a 51st place effort with a time of 22:52.20 while Harper Carmical led Harlan, finishing 111th with a time 24:37.20. Isabelle Cruz led Lynn Camp with a 120th place effort with a time of 25:92.10.
