Middlesboro coach Larry French and Whitley County coach Matt Rhymer has been named their respective district’s Coach of the Year today by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association.
French (Class A, District 7) has guided Middlesboro to a 7-2 record and the Class A, District 7 championship.
The Yellow Jackets boasted a 4-0 mark against district competition.
Rhymer (Class 4A, District 8) has guided the Colonels to a 5-5 mark, and a 1-2 record against district opponents.
