Harlan’s Kyler McClendon comes into the season as the No. 3 ranked player in the 13th Region after turning in an impressive junior campaign.
The sharpshooter led the Green Dragons with a 22.3 scoring average while hitting 254-of-628 shot attempts from the floor. He also knocked down 100-of-303 shots (33 percent) from 3-point range.
He connected on 76.3 percent (106-of-129) of his free throw attempts while finishing with a 3.5 rebounds per game average, totaling 113 on the season.
McClendon helped lead Harlan to a 24-8 record, a 52nd District runner-up finish, and an appearance in the 13th Region Tournament.
