Fourty-three point first quarter highlights Bell County’s 85-16 win over Cordia

LOG MOUNTAIN — Brad Sizemore’s Bell County Bobcats captured their season-opener, turning in a dominating effort against Cordia on Tuesday, winning, 85-16.

The Bobcats (1-0) built a 43-5 first quarter lead as Cameron Hall scored 18 of his game-high 22 points in the first quarter. Ethan Buell added 10 of his 18 points in the first eight minutes while Jaxon Thomas also scored 10 points in the first quarter and finished with 14 points.

Bell County led 65-16 at halftime before outscoring Cordia, 20-0, in the second half.
