Wilder, McGeorge combine to score 42 points during Bell County’s 66-29 win over Knoxville Ambassadors

LOG MOUNTAIN — Gracie Jo Wilder turned in a game-high 24 points to lead Bell County to a 66-29 victory over Knoxville Ambassadors on Friday.

The win improved the Lady Bobcats to 1-1 after dropping their season-opener against North Laurel on Tuesday.

Lauren McGeorge also scored in double figures, finishing with 18 points while Kairi Lamb added 10 points in the win.

Wilder scored nine points in the first quarter while McGeorge added seven points to give Bell County a 22-6 lead.

The Lady Bobcats used a 19-10 run in the second quarter to extend their advantage to 41-16 at halftime.

Bell County put the finishing touches on its win by outscoring its opponents, 25-13, in the second half.
