BARBOURVILLE — Knox Central is halfway to its season win total from a year ago after its 70-40 win over Barbourville on Friday.
Mitchell Madden’s squad improved to 2-0 after picking up the 30-point win.
The Panthers didn’t win their second win last season until Jan. 19.
“Great team effort,” Madden said. “These kids are working and improving.”
Gavin Chadwell led the way for Knox Central with 16 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, and four blocks while Braydon Mills finished with 16 points, and four rebounds. Austin Bargo added 13 points and five rebounds while Grayson Burton and Trevor Jordan each finished with seven points apiece.
