Larry Gritton, Jr.’s Oneida Baptist Mountaineers continued their impressive start this season by handing Barbourville a 61-49 loss.
The Mountaineers (3-2) are 2-2 against the Tigers during the past two years.
Oneida Baptist was led in scoring by Canaan Tyree once again. He finished with 23 points while knocking down three 3-pointers. Tyree was also 6-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Teammate Jacob Rogers added 22 points while finishing with five 3-pointers, and Skyler Roberts added six points.
Ethan Fisher led the Tigers with 15 points while Corey Riley added 13 points, and Jared King chipped in 11 points.
