Knox Central’s Gavin Chadwell scores 29 points, pulls down 21 boards during Panthers’ win over Richmond Model

RICHMOND — Knox Central senior Gavin Chadwell was in midseason form during Tuesday’s matchup against Richmond Model.

Chadwell turned in a 29-point, 21-rebound effort to help guide the Panthers to a 61-46 win.

“Bench played a great role tonight,” Knox Central coach Mitchell Madden said. “They had to step up and handle the ball because we lost Austin Bargo 35 seconds into the game with a bad foot injury, and he couldn’t return. We will have him evaluated tomorrow, and hopefully it’s nothing bad.”

Braydon Mills added 15 points in the win while Grayson Burton finished with nine points and six rebounds. Nathan Dunn collected four points, and six rebounds.
