MCKEE — Greg Parrett’s Jackson County Generals evened their record at 3-3 thanks to a 64-57 win over Owsley County on Tuesday.
Eighth grader Corey Cunagin led the Generals in scoring with 19 points while Keagan Ward and Carter Cunigan each added 13 points apiece.
“Great team effort with three starters in double figures,” Jackson County assistant coach Bradley Sandlin said. “Rebounding was key on both ends.”
Jackson County took an early lead against the Owls, and continued to build on it throughout the game.
The Generals led 29-20 at halftime, and 44-37, entering the final quarter of play.
