MANCHESTER — Nine players scored during Clay County’s 80-57 win over Oneida Baptist on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers were led by Canaan Tyre’s 29 points while the Tigers’ Elijah Bundy finished with 19 points.
Jacob Rogers also scored in double figures for Oneida Baptist, finishing with 15 points while teammate Skyler Roberts chipped in 11 points.
Jerrod Roark joined Bundy in double figures for Clay County, finishing with 14 points while Hayden Harris added 13 points.
The game was close throughout with Oneida Baptist building a 17-11 lead in the first quarter before trailing at halftime, 30-28.
The Tigers pushed their lead to 55-43 entering the fourth quarter before using a 25-14 run to secure the win.
