Knox Central overcame some obstacles during its 77-56 win over Lee County, but that’s what good teams do.
The Panthers (4-2) won their second game in a row, as Gavin Chadwell continues to shine, recording 19 points, and 16 rebounds while blocking four shots. Grayson Burton led the team with 29 points while Trevor Jordan finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Hayden Melton chipped in six points and nine rebounds while Nathan Dunn finished with five points and four rebounds.
“Great team effort tonight,” Knox Central coach Mitchell Madden said. “We had a couple of kids sick and Austin Bargo out with a foot injury. It took everyone and they stepped up to the challenge. Good win for us heading into the Christmas tournaments.”
