LOG MOUNTAIN — Two of the 13th Region’s top players went head-to-head on Wednesday with Gracie Jo Wilder and the Bell County Lady Wildcats picking up a slim 69-65 win over Ella Karst and the Harlan County Lady Black Bears.
Wilder led Bell County with 39 points while 18 of those came in the fourth quarter. She also finished with five 3-pointers.
Karst scored 38 points while going 11-of-13 from the free-throw line, and finishing with five 3-pointers.
Kairi Lamb scored 13 points for Bell County while coach David Teague recorded his 300th win. Faith Hoskins also scored in double figures for Harlan County, finishing with 10 points.
