STEARNS — Michael Jones’ Clay County Tigers improved to 6-2 after recording a 91-72 win over Danville on Thursday.
The Tigers jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. They had leads of 45-22 at halftime and 72-52 entering the fourth quarter.
Jones received a balanced scoring effort with Adon Grubb leading the way with 18 points. Elijah Bundy chipped in 17 points while Jerrod Roark, and Ethan Jackson each scored 16 points apiece. Grayson Hooker finished with eight points.
