GATLINBURG, Tenn. — Williamsburg’s first game in the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic didn’t go exactly how the Lady Yellow Jackets would have wanted.
Coach Melissa Douglas’ squad struggled throughout the contest connecting with shots, and in the end, the lack of scoring led to a 65-24 loss to Warren County, Tenn.
The loss dropped the Lady Yellow Jackets to 1-5, as they’ll try to get back to the win column on Thursday.
Williamsburg fell behind 19-5 in the first quarter and 37-11 at halftime before getting outscored 28-13 in the second half.
Abby Moses led the way with nine points while Abbigayle Chinn, and Presley Spicer each scored four points apiece.
