Lady Redhounds ready to tip-off in the Sunshine State

ORLANDO, Fla. — Isaac Wilson’s Corbin Lady Redhounds are 8-2 on the season, and will enter their second holiday tournament of their Christmas break this week after posting a 2-2 mark in last week’s Queen of the Commonwealth Tournament.

Corbin will be participating in the KSA Events Holiday Classic along with some of the best teams in the country.

The Lady Redhounds’ first game will tip-off Wednesday at 1 p.m. against Georgia’s Sequoyah High School.

A win during first round action would put Corbin in the semifinals on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. a loss would send them into the loser’s bracket with game time remaining the same at 5:30 p.m.

The championship game is scheduled to be played Friday.

Teams that are joining the Lady Redhounds and Sequoyah in the tournament are Glen Rose, Tenn., Medina, Oh., Cathedral Prep, Pa., Wasilla, Ark., Foxborough, Fla., and Blacksburg, SC.
