WILLIAMSBURG — Lynn Camp turned in a season-low 21 points during its seventh consecutive loss of the season on Saturday.
The Wildcats (2-9) entered the game with hopes of claiming one win in the Borderline Classic, but Tri-Cities Christian had other thoughts, defeating Lynn Camp, 53-21.
The Wildcats fell behind 19-4 in the first quarter and never recovered. They were outscored, 21-1, in the second quarter and trailed 40-5 at halftime.
Lynn Camp continued to fight in the second half, but couldn’t recover from its struggles in the first 16 minutes.
Ethan Burd led Lynn Camp with eight points while Zach Thorpe added six points.
