Lynn Camp gets back in the win column, hands Red Bird 68-36 loss

MANCHESTER — Tyler Wagner’s Lynn Camp Wildcats got back to their winning ways on Thursday, snapping a nine-game losing skid with a 68-36 win over Red Bird.

“Felt great to get a team win tonight,” Wagner said. “We came out a lil flat in the first few minutes, missing some easy opportunities and trying to force some things. But then we calmed down and started sharing the ball tremendously better than we have been.”

Lynn Camp (3-11) received balanced scoring with Ethan Burd led the way with 14 points while Ian Agosto (13 points), Caleb Woods (13 points), and Tate Mills (12 points) followed.

“It’s always good to put a win on the record,” Wagner said. “But having 13 assists tonight and multiple guys in double digits in the scoring column was a really good sign for us. These kids have been through some struggles recently so hopefully we can get some confidence and start competing more than we have been.”
