FRANKFORT — Isaac Wilson’s Corbin Lady Redhounds got a much-needed win on Saturday, snapping a four-game skid with a 66-63 win over Franklin County.
The Lady Redhounds (10-6) were able to build – 34-27 lead in the first half while taking a slim 48-46 edge into the fourth quarter.
Kyle Clem scored eight of her 19 points in the fourth quarter, helping Corbin pull away with the three-point victory.
“Happy for our team and the girls today we showed a lot of fight and grit,” Wilson said. “We have faced quite a bit of adversity the last few weeks for us to come out and show the heart today on the road at Franklin County tells me a lot about this team moving. We have a big week ahead of us with two district games, coming up that we must focus on and be ready for.”
Kallie Housley added 14 points for the Lady Redhounds while Bailey Stewart finished with 13 points. Izzy Walker scored 11 points and Darcie Anderson chipped in 11 points.
