Pineville 48, Fairview 0

The Mountain Lions continued their domination, rolling past Fairview, 48-0, on Friday.

Pineville has outscored its opponents, 99-0, during its first two games.

Allen Harris’ squad will host unbeaten Paris Friday. The Greyhounds have outscored their opponents, 113-42, so far this season. 

Hazard 40, Harlan County 20

Hazard limited the Black Bears’ ground game to only 107 yards while outgaining them in total yardage, 435-140 during the Bulldogs’ 40-20 victory.

Harlan County linebacker Josh Sergent returned an interception 47 yards for a score while Thomas Jordan added a five-yard touchdown run and quarterback Luke Kelly connected with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Ethan Rhymer.

The Black Bears will be back in action Friday on the road against Whitley County.

Knott Central 38, Jackson County 22

The Generals fell to 0-2 after suffering their seventh consecutive loss on Friday, losing to Knott Central, 38-22 

Jackson County will be back in action Thursday at home against Morgan County.
