Another year of high school football is here.
This is personally my favorite time of year. Hot chocolate, changing of seasons, and great highschool football action.
We here at the L4 Security 13th Region Media Network love to cover these games.
Behind the scenes though we love to pick these games, and trust me, you don’t want to lose these Pick’ems. We also give the fans a chance to vote, and comment on why they think their pick is right. It’s fun to pick games and once I show you these stats, it will prove that we have very knowledgeable people voting on our social media sites.
Week One
We had 11 games involving 13th Region teams. On our show “In the Huddle” Brought to you by the Huddle House”, I missed two games — missing on Whitley County vs. Perry Central, and North Laurel vs. Bell County.
My first week I went 9-2, that’s good right?
Well Facebook and Twitter just said, “Hold my Tea”. On our Twitter page @boysandgirls13th, the fan vote was right on 10 out of 11 matchups only missing on Whitley County and Perry Central.
The game that got the most votes was the Corbin vs. Pikeville game receiving 46 votes.
Our Facebook page, 13th Region Media Network Football, was really good also. The fan vote only missed on two games — Whitley County vs. Perry Central and the Middlesboro vs. Hazard.
The Pikeville vs. Corbin Game received a whopping 228 votes and led the way on the Facebook votes.
Week Two
We had 10 games involving 13th Region teams during Week Two.
My second week record ended 8-2.
I missed on Knox Central vs. Bell County and Pineville vs. Fairview.
Thankfully, I beat my partner in the Pick’ems on “In the Huddle” Brought to you by Huddle House, which airs LIVE every Sunday at 8 p.m. on our social media pages. Plus you can catch us on other media outlets also. So of course our Twitter page @boysandgirls13th, and our Facebook page 13th Region Media Network Football has me to hold the tea again.
Both Facebook and Twitter picked 9 out of 10 games right, missing on the Bell County vs. Knox Central game. Whitley County vs. Corbin received the most votes on Twitter for Week Two, receiving 39 votes.
While Bell County vs. Knox Central beat the Week One total of votes on Facebook receiving 306.
I will try to keep you all updated on the Fan Vote each week. I guess it’s Ok to let your friend know you picked more games right than them, just remember please keep it clean, they might win next week. It’s that time of year lets get out and support these student athletes. Thank you all for voting and commenting, keep it up, and as always Go 13th!
