CORBIN — Tony Pietrowski’s Corbin Redhounds are peaking at the right time with only a week and half before the start of postseason play.
Corbin ran its win streak to four games while improving to 16-7 after defeating Lynn Camp 60-43 on Tuesday.
Trey Worley paved the way for the Redhounds, scoring nine of his team-high 19 points in the first quarter. Conner Middleton added 15 points while Zander Curry finished with eight points.
“Overall, happy with our performance,” Pietrowski said. “We allowed them to get free in the first quarter and they knocked down some shots. From that point forward, I thought we were pretty solid defensively.
“Solid performance by both Trey Worley and Conner Middleton this evening,” he added. “We are continuing to grow and hopefully will round into shape as we near closer to the postseason.”
The loss dropped the Wildcats to 7-16 as Tate Mills led Lynn Camp with 20 points while Zach Thorpe and Ethan Burd scored nine points apiece.
