Dixon Law Office Presents: Can Lady Bobcats put an end to Corbin’s winning ways?

LOG MOUNTAIN — Two of the 13th Region’s best girls’ teams face-off today when Corbin travels to Bell County.
Isaac Wilson’s Lady Redhounds are firing on all cylinders, after dropping five games in a row a little over a month ago.
Since the losing skid ended, Corbin is 7-1 with its only setback a loss to North Laurel. The Lady Redhounds also recorded a huge win over No. 4 ranked Pikeville during their recent run.
Corbin (16-8) is led by senior Kallie Housley, who leads the team with a 16.7 scoring average while Kylie Clemens is averaging 15.4 points, and Bailey Stewart is averaging 10.3 points. Darcie Anderson is chipping in 9.3 points per game while Raegan Walker is dishing out seven points per game. Walker also leads Corbin with a 6.7 rebounding average.
Wilson’s squad is looking to win consecutive games against the Lady Bobcats for the first time since accomplishing the feat in 2016 and 2017.
Bell County (16-10) is looking to get back on track after falling on the road to Jackson County, 53-50. Before the loss, the Lady Bobcats were winners of four straight. 
Bell County is led by senior Gracie Jo Wilder, who is averaging 23.1 points per game while pulling down 6.2 rebounds per game. Lauren McGeorge is averaging 15.6 points per game while Kairi Lamb is averaging 12.6 points per game and 12.0 rebounds per game.
