Gilbert scores career-high 34 points to lead Jackson County past Harlan County with 80-70 win 

MCKEE — Kourtney Tyra’s Jackson County Lady Generals continue to roll, knocking off Harlan County on Friday with an 80-70 win.

Abby Gilbert led the way for the Lady Generals, scoring a career-high 34 points while pulling down eight rebounds, and dishing out seven assists. Maddy Curry had 23 points, six rebounds and hit all 10 of her free throw shots. She also knocked down three 3-pointers. 

Ella Karst led Harlan County with 36 points, and six assists. 

Jackson County finished the game hitting 10-of-24 shot attempts from 3-point range. The Lady Generals are now 17-9 while pushing their win streak to four games. The Lady Black Bears are now 15-12.
