KNOXVILLE — Andrew Smith continued his impressive play, leading Williamsburg with 20 points while Cooper Prewitt scored 18 points while Henry Bowling finished with 15 points to help guide the Yellow Jackets to a 60-50 win over the Knoxville Ambassadors on Tuesday.
The win improved Williamsburg to 16-13.
“Fortunate to pick up another road win,” Williamsburg coach Anthony Hibbard said. “Knoxville Ambassadors’ length really challenged us early on. After the first couple of possessions, we settled in and played some good basketball. We were ball strong and moved it at high level. Just impressed with our poise and effort, overall. This experience definitely helps us.
“We feel like we are trending in the right direction,” he added. “We just need to stay healthy and finish the regular season strong and prepare for postseason play.”
