CORBIN — Nadine Johnson scored 18 points while Mallory Smith added 17 points during Pineville’s 65-31 win over Barbourville on Monday.
The Lady Mountain Lions advanced to Thursday’s 51st District Tournament title game and will face-off against top-seeded Knox Central.
Ava Arnett also scored in double digits during the win adding 13 points.
Pineville led 16-12 after the first quarter before using a 12-5 run in the second quarter to take a 28-17 lead into halftime.
The Lady Mountain Lions outscored the Lady Tigers, 37-14, during the second half.
Layla Brock led Barbourville with 12 points while Sarah Smith added 11 points.
