The Whitley County Lady Colonel volleyball team made quick work of region for Knox Central
On Monday, winning in three sets, 3-0.
The Lady Colonels are coming off this past weekend’s Kentucky 2A, Section 7 championship, and with Monday’s win over the Lady Panthers (3-2) have now ran their record to 6-0.
Whitley County has region wins over North Laurel, Corbin, South Laurel, and Knox Central.
The Lady Colonels won the first set, 25-23, while slipping past the Lady Panthers, 25-22, in the second set. Whitley County wrapped up the win with a 25-13 victory in the third set.
The Lady Colonels will be back in action Thursday at home against Corbin while Knox Central will host 51st District rival Pineville on Tuesday.
