Dixon Law Office Presents: Who wants it more? South Laurel vs. Corbin 

CORBIN — The third matchup between Corbin and South Laurel should be a good one.
The two teams will meet tonight in the 50th District Girls’ Tournament’s title game.
The two teams split a pair of games this season with the Lady Cardinals winning 67-66 on Jan. 9 at Corbin while the Lady Redhounds won, 72-67, on Jan. 29 at South Laurel.
Corbin (19-8) enters the game as the district’s top seed, riding a five-game win streak.
Kallie Housley leads the team with a 17.1 scoring average while pulling down 3.8 boards per game. Kylie Clemens is averaging 15.3 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game while Bailey Stewart is averaging 10.1 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game. Darcie Anderson is dishing out 9.0 points per game while Raegan Walker averages 7.0 points per game while leading the Lady Redhounds with a 6.8 rebounding average.
South Laurel (19-12) enters the contest with a two-game win streak after suffering a season-long three-game losing skid. 
The Lady Cardinals are led by Shelbie Mills’ 18.5 scoring average while Skeeter Mabe averages 12.9 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game. Maci Messer is averaging 11.7 points per game while Jamie Buenaventura averages 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Aubrey Bundy is averaging 3.4 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game.
