The “Q” for the Day: Does Middlesboro get on track this week?

It’s crazy to me that it’s already Week 3 of the 2022 high school football season in the 13th Region.

This is the week where teams start to find thier identity and who they are as a football team.

One team that in my opinion has to have a big week is the Yellow Jackets down in Middlesboro.

After suffering back to back losses including a loss against a 13th Region foe this past week against Williamsburg, it’s important that the Yellow Jackets find some confidence and momentum, and it all starts at the quarterback position with Cayden Grigsby.

Grigsby brings a lot to the team with not only his arm but his legs as well as his leadership on and off for football field. This is the week where Middlesboro finds its grove and gets that first win of the new season.

Another team I think this week is important for is Knox Central.

The Panthers are absolutely rolling right now behind a monster of two games from Steven Partin. Ten total touchdowns through the first two games is an incredible stat and is a huge reason why the Panthers remain undefeated. The reason this is such a big week for the Panthers is because coming off that historic win against Bell County it’s important that Knox Central maintains its composure and gets back to buisness when they take on the Cardinals of South Laurel this upcoming week.

Who do you think is due for a big week?
